Room Bookings
Merton graduates may book the MCR for private functions when it is not otherwise in use, as well as other rooms throughout College. Please note that all MCR members are still entitled to use the room at the same time.
If you are interested in booking the MCR, please check the Term Card and get in touch with the Social Secretaries to confirm whether or not there is a clash with any other events. You will then have to fill out the room booking form and return it together with a cheque for £100 payable to ‘Merton College MCR’ – this is a deposit that will be returned once the MCR has been cleaned up after your event. The deadline for this is one week before the event to ensure that all of the relevant permissions can be obtained in time.
To book any other room in College, you will need to contact the Conference and Events Team. Do note that you will need to book other College rooms very far in advance.
